The Wrangler comes in a variety of features and loads of trim options, all of which are more durable and adventurous than the competition. Whether you’re interested in the base Sport model or the trailblazing Rubicon, there are a lot of options to consider! We’re breaking down each model and their variations so you can find the 2020 Jeep Wrangler that best fits your needs!

The Wrangler Lineup

The base-level Sport trim includes standard features such as skid plates, tow hooks, 17-inch steel wheels, foglights, removable full metal doors, crank windows, and a fold-down windshield. Other features include manual mirrors/locks, push-button start, cruise control, a one-piece folding rear seat, and a height-adjustable with two-way lumbar adjustment driver’s seat. Inside the cabin, the Sport has an eight-speaker audio system paired to a 5-inch touchscreen with a rearview camera, USB port, and Bluetooth compatibility.
Sport Variants
The Sport trim is available in a variety of sub-trim and Unlimited variations. Unlimited versions come with air conditioning, a bigger gas tank, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat. The Sport S variation comes with allow wheels, automatic headlights, heated power mirrors, remote locking/unlocking, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows/locks, and sun visors. The Unlimited Altitude version adds 18-inch wheels, a hardtop, rear window washer and defroster, and heavy-duty brakes and suspension. There are three- special-edition models for the Sport S: the Black and Tan, the Willys, and the Freedom package. The Black and Tan trim adds side rails, all-terrain tires, a larger driver display, and a 7-inch touchscreen with satellite radio and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration. The Willys model adds more off-roading features, including rails and shocks from the Rubicon trim, 32-inch all-terrain tires, heavy-duty brakes, limited-slip rear differential, and a variety of appearance upgrades. The Freedom package adds all-terrain tires, a soft top, military-themed graphics, and tinted windows.
The Sahara model is a four-door SUV with most of the features from the Sport S Altitude and Black and Tan models and adds painted exterior trim and body panels. The Sahara also adds a full-time four-wheel-drive system with an optional lockable center differential. With the Unlimited Sahara Altitude trim, you get the hardtop with leather upholstery and shifter and rear window washer/defroster.
The last Wrangler trim is the Rubicon. This model adds features to the Sahara trim, including 17-inch wheels with special tires, heavy-duty axles with shorter gearing electronic front and lockable rear differentials, rock rails, an electronically disconnecting front stabilizer bar, upgraded cloth upholstery, and a 4.0-to-1 low-range gearing.

More Optional Features

These options include remote start and keyless entry, heated seats and steering wheel, leather upholstery, an upgraded 8.4-inch touchscreen with navigation, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system. Available safety packages include the Safety Group with front/rear parking sensors and blind-spot monitor and the Advanced Safety Group, which adds adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning.
