Trim Levels of the 2019 RAM 1500

One of the bestselling vehicles of all time is back and better than ever in 2019! The 2019 RAM is redesigned, but it has not abandoned what has made the truck successful in the past. In 2019, the RAM 1500 has also shed 225 pounds while adding a stronger steel frame and thus increasing its maximum payload and towing capacity. With seven trim levels, the 2019 RAM 1500 acts as a blank canvas with a ton of customizable options, and we are here to break them all down for you!

Tradesman
The Tradesman trim, like all RAM 1500 trims, comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Optional on all trims except the HFE is a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 horsepower. The Tradesman also comes with 18-inch steel wheels, vinyl flooring and upholstery, and a Uconnect infotainment system with a 5-inch touchscreen display. The Tradesman also provides you with such conveniences such as a locking tailgate, trailer sway control, heated side mirrors, push-button ignition, air conditioning, and cruise control. There are also a ton of options such as trailer brake control, electronic locking rear differential, chrome exterior trim, and cloth upholstery.

HFE
The HFE is equipped like the Tradesman but also offers increased fuel efficiency from its V6 engine while also providing you with a rear-wheel drive.

Big Horn
More features are available for the Big Horn including foglights, tinted windows, cloth upholstery, and floor carpet. There are a ton of extra options available such as 20-inch wheels, air suspension, LED headlights and taillights, power-adjustable pedals, and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen that features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Rebel
Geared more toward off-roading the Rebel comes standard with off-road tires, front tow hooks, skid plates, an electronic-locking rear axle, fortifies shocks and suspension, and hill descent control. The Rebel also builds on the Big Horn’s features by adding a Class IV hitch receiver, LED headlights and foglights, a power-adjustable driver seat, front bucket seats, and a more significant driver information display with satellite radio.

Laramie
The Laramie is the luxury trim and comes with such features as front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front outboard seats, driver-seat position memory, power-adjustable bench front seats, and a heated steering wheel and keyless entry. You can also get upgrades such as dual climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and two rear-seat USB inputs. An emergency notification system is also available.

Longhorn
The Longhorn trim dives further into creature comforts by adding a spray-in bedliner, power tailgate release, automatic wipers, automatic high beams, heated and ventilated reclining rear seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, front bucket seats with upgraded leather upholstery, and a navigation system.

Limited
The Limited is the top of the trim list and provides you with such features as adjustable air suspension, chrome exterior trim, premium-leather bucket seats, and such safety features as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.

There are even more options you can choose from to customize your RAM 1500. For instance, there are three different truck beds available, and the Laramie, Longhorn, and Limited trim levels include advanced safety features such as adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning. On top of that, many of a specific trim level’s standard features are optional on the trim level below it giving you even more choice. The RAM 1500 combines these features with a powerful and fuel-efficient engine to make for another perfect pickup from the folks at RAM.
